Modern Art Research Institute of Ukrainian Academy of Arts () is a unique institute in Ukraine that exercises the fundamental scientific researches in the field of all kinds of the modern art, the practical and search studios directed on development of the professional modern art and architecture, the adoption of new creative technologies, the formation of national culture, the preparation and the edition of monographies and scientific papers of the principal directions of scientific activity.〔The Messenger of Ukrainian Academy of Arts (Вісник Академії мистецтв України.) -- К., 2007.〕 It was found in December 2001, under the auspices of the Ministry of culture and art of Ukraine, the vice-president НАН of Ukraine I.
